What I’m building

Ten things. Two of them you can open right now; the rest are being built, and each one says which it is.

In reach

Built for other people

Someone who is not me can use these, or will be able to. Two are live and linked; two are being built and say so rather than showing a “coming soon” page.

Well-Intel Permits

Every drilling permit from four state regulators, in one place. Free accounts see a permit at least seven days after it is issued; Pro sees same-day filings and gets emailed when a watch matches.

States
TX, OK, NM, LA

underwriters, valuators, operators

Fader

The forecast for a fantasy lineup: projections with their likely range rather than a single number, close calls called close, and every forecast graded in public afterwards.

Sport

Output
projections with ranges
Grading
in public, after the fact

Fader Odds

The market-data half of Fader. It snapshots sportsbook lines at fixed points before kickoff and turns them into market-adjusted projections, so a forecast reflects what the wider market already knows. It is infrastructure for the forecasts above rather than something sold on its own.

Language
Python 3.12
Raw
append-only files, mirrored to R2
Derived
DuckDB, rebuilt from raw
Status
building — nothing to sell yet

Resolution Risk

Reads the rules documents behind prediction markets, flags where a contract could settle in a way its traders did not expect, tracks amendments, and compares settlement criteria across venues.

Never

Guards
invariants enforced by tests

Further out

Built for me

Tools I actually run and prototypes I am learning in. They are most of the work, so they are here.

Producer

An AI streaming assistant with a safety-first capture pipeline. It sits between the encoder and the platform, so a credential that reaches the screen never reaches the audience.

Language
TypeScript
Runtime deps
zero, deliberately
Surface
OBS, relay, overlay, desk
Status
in use when streaming

Short Studio

Turns a recorded session into vertical clips. It runs inside Producer rather than beside it, so the same secret sweep that guards the broadcast guards what gets published — one pattern set, not two that can drift apart.

Lives in
Producer — packages/shorts
Sweep
shared with the capture path
Output
the session cuts among the clips
Status
idle while streams are paused

MegaBrain

A personal knowledge graph built from my own AI conversation history, notes and documents. Local-first by design: markdown on disk is the source of truth and the database is only a query layer, so nothing is trapped in a format I cannot read.

in use, for me

Command Center

The forward-tense half of MegaBrain. It answers what is due, what I said I would do, and what the goal is this quarter — and notices when I did not do it. It has to earn daily use on calendar and commitments before any of the memory work is wired in.

Owns

Broadcaster

Posts about the other projects to their own accounts. Each brand carries its own rules — no user counts, no testimonials, no head-to-head claims — and the rules block a post rather than let it publish something that cannot be backed up. It reads public pages and release notes, never customer data.

Brands
one rule set each
Sources

Rules
block the post, not the claim
Status
building — first brand only

Wahta

A voxel water simulation. A deterministic chunked 3D world where you dig and fill terrain with the mouse and the water behaves: it falls, spreads, pools, siphons and pressurises. No gameplay and no art — the simulation is the whole point.

Engine
Unity 6 LTS, URP
Sim
fixed 20 Hz, independent of render
Jobs
Burst, Collections, Mathematics

Before you go

Hear when one of these opens

Two of the things on this page are being built for other people and are not finished. If you want to know when one of them opens, this is the only way I have of telling you that doesn’t depend on an algorithm.
